Climate change is high in the public consciousness. Everyone from customers to shareholders to regulators expect businesses to acknowledge their environmental impact, and then take meaningful and measurable steps to address it. Many businesses have responded with public commitments to decarbonize their operations, such as reaching net-zero emissions, and setting deadlines they will soon be held to.

The data center is one of the largest consumers of power and electricity in an organization and must be a key focus for reaching sustainability goals. IT departments need to carefully evaluate how to reduce carbon footprint and power consumption without sacrificing performance, on-prem and in the cloud.
